About the roleAn exciting opportunity exists to join this dynamic business for a capable and competent Operational Improvement Manager. This role will sit in the Senior Leadership Team and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence through the management of projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance within the organisation.You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of business processes, implementing strategies to enhance productivity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong operational background and a passion for driving results. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at once.Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will be required to support the business projects and initiatives to deliver upon the business plan and strategic objectives.About Programmed Energy and ResourcesProgrammed is a leading provider of Staffing, Facility Management, Maintenance and Care services.   • Develop and researching methods to create efficiencies within the business
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, to ensure successful delivery of operational improvement projects
  • Collaborate with cross- functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimise operations
  • Scope Definition: Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  • Business Case Development: Develop comprehensive business cases for proposed operational improvement initiatives, outlining potential benefits, costs, risks, and resource requirements
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in optimizing operations and driving results.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate to various high-level stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans
  • The ability to build a high level of trust through maintaining confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
  • Strong relationship building skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to proactively resolve issues before they evolve into problems
  • Able to work autonomously or in a team
