- Work with the Investment Manager to learn and develop buying, trading and most importantly investment skills across all media channels.
- Prioritise workflow and deliverables - internal and external.
- Upwardly manage internal stakeholders through relevant, transparent, consistent, regular, accurate, insightful, meaningful and easily digestable information flow
- Contribute to a 'constantly learning and improving' culture that encourages co-operation and an atmosphere of a working and learning partnership with the other specialist units
- Be flexible and open to other specialism's ideas and proposals
- Ensure the Investment Manager is continually informed in current operational status by customer to ensure a consistent 'stop, less of, more of, start' philosophy of customer service is in place
- Take personal and team responsibility to operate to all of groupm's compliance mandates
- Be an active and valuable participant in the company's developing entrepreneurial, career building, outcome driven culture
- Over time, grow commercial and communication acumen, presentation and document writing skills based in storytelling
- Create sustainable, mutually respectful relationships based on integrity with all media owners appropriate to the team's customers current and future requirements
- Ensure that all relevant media owners are briefed simultaneously, in a timely manner, with integrity, in a clear, unambiguos and consistent manner with all the information to create the best value response for the team's customers
- Each media owner's proposition needs to be evaluated from a non partisan perspective with each value offering assessed on the basis of contribution to the customer's required outcomes, both individually and collectively
- Before any contact with the media owners, the executive must liaise with their manager to ensure that any information relayed is in keeping with other previous and future team, agency and group interactions and what is the most approriate line of conversation to take

- Deliver to all investment KPI's set by the Investment Director and Investment Manager
- Be accountable for the spend, day to day quality and volume delivery on the customers the Manager has assigned the executive across all media channels
- Ensure all invoice queries are resolved within 5 days
- Be accountable in ensuring any contracted media agreements are upheld by all parties and if not the Manager is alerted in a timely manner
- Demonstrate a significant level of initiative and resourcefulness
- Constantly re-appraise investment briefs and campaign performances and evolve and improve output
- Previous experience in media planning and buying (1 year or more)
- Knowledge of media channels and tools
- Passion for the media industry and specifically the importance of investment in the process
