PhD position in statistical genetics in R&D (H/F)

- Self-document (bibliography, webinars…) on state-of-the-art methods and pathologies of interest for the project
- Develop appropriate methodologies in R or python for the purpose of the project
- Apply and test methods on public data of interest (e.g. UKBiobank)
- Present your work in publications in scientific journals and poster or oral presentations in international conference
- Collaborate with different teams for gaining expertise and sharing project's outcome
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in data science and genetics.
- Excellent knowledge in genetics and statistical genetics;
- Knowledge in machine learning and/or mendelian randomization;
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., R and/or Python);
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Enthusiasm about transdisciplinary research and open science at the interface between data science and genetics;
- Clear interest in using applied science methodology to benefit biological understanding in cancer research.
