Established in 1926, Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC) now operates 28 services units with about 700 employees, providing care, education and development support to approximately 3,000 children daily.   • Lead the formulation of financial strategies on generation and utilisation of financial resources to sustain and enhance the Society's service offering.
  • Implement financial objectives and plans for the Society, and monitor its financial performance to meet with those objectives and plans.
  • Lead the Society's upcoming revamp of finance policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement risk-based internal controls in financial management processes of the Society.
  • Work closely with the Information Technology and Human Resources Departments in designing and managing the financial management system as part of the Society's larger Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Provide timely financial reports and management reports to the senior management and heads of department / service unit to support financial planning and monitoring.
  • Be responsible for complying with the audit and financial reporting requirements of various funding bodies and relevant statutory bodies.
  • Oversee and manage the Finance Department and Administration Services Department of the Society, and coordinate with different departments / service units to achieve the objectives of those functions.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Director and Deputy Director of the Society.
Incumbent Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or above in Finance / Accounting or related disciplines.
  • Master degree in business administration or finance will be an added advantage.
  • Professional accounting qualification: Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years relevant working experience in the accounting/financial field with a minimum of 5 years of senior managerial experience or leadership position.
  • Possess hands-on experience in strategic financial planning, financial reporting and finance systems management.
  • Strong leadership, managerial and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
