- Working with teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met for existing and proposed business
- Responsible for maintaining all corporate documents for Class I trust license, effective communication with the board and team members accordingly
- Answer compliance queries from external business groups and competent authorities,
- Contribute to TMF BVI compliance and risk strategy and culture; liaising with senior management and advising on relevant regulatory matters and best practice within the industry
- Review and analyze new/changes to legislation and regulation, engage with the business to assess the impact, plan the implementation of regulatory changes, and embed within company
- Assist with monitoring industry developments and driving required actions.
- Monitor and report effectively on key Risk and Compliance indicators.
- Assist and provide oversight of the management of any breaches and errors, to include investigation and remediation where appropriate.
- Assist with facilitation of training on various aspects of regulations, internal policies and procedures, compliance, and risk management where required.
- Provide advice, guidance, and training to junior colleagues in relation to risk, compliance and AML/CFT/PFT issues, assisting with any applicable technical queries and reviews of documentation.
- Promote awareness of regulatory principles and requirements on a day-to-day basis and contribute to the education of other members of staff in this regard.

- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
- Legal qualification such as Bachelor of Laws
- ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance, AML or other relevant area of specialisation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Compliance Officer role, approved by the Financial Services Commission
- Skill/experience driving projects, analysing data and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage positively with people of all levels of the business
- Ability to develop and deliver training, influence behaviours across a range of competencies
- Strong analytical and policy drafting skills, to draft and develop internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the BVI's regulatory environment, including AML/CFT/CPF requirements
- Clear and current understanding of regulatory and reporting obligations in the BVI
- Aptitude for reviewing and resolving complex issues
- Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workloads & meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Viewpoint is desirable
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
