Job Location(s): West (eg: Queenstown, Jurong, Clementi, Tuas)JOB DESCRIPTIONOur client, a global tertiary university, is inviting suitable candidates for the role of Manager, Partnership Development, to join their team.If you enjoy work related to industry engagement, marketing, alumni and student support services, this may be the role for you!Reporting to the Academic Director, the key accountabilities for this role are:
  • Develop and implement an industry engagement program to enhance involvement in Singapore. Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to create opportunities for internships, guest lecturers, projects, events, and career mentoring for students.
  • Efficiently manage internship administration, building strong relationships with employers, academics, the University, and staff of the University's Partner to secure internship opportunities for students.
  • Promote Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to internal and external audiences, collaborating with University units to gather industry feedback and enhance placement variety and student and industry satisfaction.
  • Establish and manage feedback processes with industry clients to expand internship options and enhance satisfaction.
  • Organize marketing events for the University, including participation in Open House, alumni functions, and industry/career events. Support branding and merchandising in Singapore.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Manager, Partnerships in Australia to engage alumni and support alumni engagement in Singapore. Assist the University and Australia Alumni team in fostering alumni relationships aligned with the University's Alumni strategy.
  • Serve as a liaison for key University units, ensuring activity alignment with units like Marketing, Engagement, Work Integrated Learning, Students & Programs, and Alumni Office.
  • Co-facilitate student access to global mobility, internships, intensives, and student enrichment for the students.
Key criteria important in the selection of the ideal candidate:
  • Demonstrated adept commercial insight, skillfully managing relationships with a track record of cultivating fruitful business partnerships, ideally within an account management capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing educational resources to support industry partner assets in an educational context.
  • Demonstrated experience in orchestrating and delivering top-tier industry learning experiences for students, encompassing WIL, internships, on-site visits, guest lectures, projects, and competitions.
  • Possesses exceptional relationship cultivation and negotiation competencies, seamlessly collaborating with industry stakeholders, vital College entities, academic and professional personnel, students, and external clients.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing and coordinating projects, covering planning, communication, execution, assessment, and reporting.
  • Proven capability to work autonomously, displaying initiative, task prioritization, and deadline adherence in a demanding milieu, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering dedication to quality assurance.
  • Showcases exceptional written and verbal communication prowess, with an ability to articulate succinctly and coherently, engaging in confident and impactful dialogues with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Possesses advanced computer proficiency encompassing Word, Excel, databases, internet, intranet, and email, underscored by a focus on efficacy, precision, and meticulousness. Familiarity with web and mobile applications, as well as social media utilization for stakeholder engagement, is advantageous.
