- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to build out our Cloud platform connectivity stacks through design and automation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments within our team
- Utilise your technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable & secure monitoring solutions
- Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work
- Provide input into new design and service catalogue standards and instructions
- Assist in solving issues with the Cloud services & platforms
- Assist in providing end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors
- Participate in design reviews and deliver on solution designs
- 3+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience in:
- Designing, configuring & implementing scalable monitoring and SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) solutions using the Elastic Stack/ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) in Public and Private cloud platforms
- Configuring parameters, indexing, search and query performance tuning, security, and administration along with the ability to manipulate, convert and analyse log data
- 1+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience in:
- Developing and provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
- Developing automation scripts using Python (or equivalent scripting language such as BASH, GoLang etc.)
- Using DevOps tools and process to create pipelines using CI/CD, or other such as Jenkins or ADO
- Experience in implementing monitoring solutions within Cloud infrastructure keeping security, cost, performance, and complexity at the top of your mind
- Able to quickly learn and understand new technologies or concepts, review functional and technical requirements, participate in design discussions, understand industry compliance/ security standards and passionate about everything automated, including crafting and evolving CI/CD pipelines
- Team player possessing strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and collaborate across multiple teams/business units
- Working knowledge of VMWare vCloud, including vRealize Suite
- Experience in contributing to the design of, and ability to configure and implement, Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization using automation via CI/CD pipelines
- Linux and Windows SysAdmin experience
