Wesco Anixter represents the international go-to-market brand of Wesco and brings to life the company's mission to build, connect, power and protect the world to its customers and supplier partners in the regions of CALA, EMEA and APAC.Based in their Auckland head office and focused on their Security product portfolio, the role is responsible for Account Management of an existing customer base with the ability to develop new accounts.We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who understands that customers are a privilege and the relationships we have with them should be treated as such.Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed sales and profit goals for assigned territory and product lines and nurture relationships with existing partners for optimal sales.
  • Conduct internal and external product training sessions.
  • Organize customer databases for targeted marketing.
  • Represent company at industry expos and events.
  • Monitor and report competitor activity.
  • Assist with managing product lines.
The successful candidate will:
  • Understand how to manage and develop an existing customer base.
  • Experience in developing relationships at all levels in a customer's organisation including C Level Executives.
  • Have an ability to identify growth opportunities within an existing customer base.
  • Understand B2B commercial structures.
  • Understand IP technology.
  • An understanding of physical security technology is required including but not limited to;IP Video Security, Access Control Technology, Alarm Systems.
