As Supply Chain Expert you will be responsible for identifying, managing and executing the most appropriate contract strategy for the executions of the projects. Additionally, the Supply Chain Expert will work closely with the technical team, the procurement manager and all other team members to select the most suitable equipment/service providers and/or contractors and to secure appropriate contractual terms and conditions.Job Description:Main ReponsibilitiesSupport the Commercial and Supply Chain Manager to set up the most appropriate contract strategy towards the supply chain and monitor and update it to make it compliant with the risk profile identified from time to time by shareholders.Investigate the global market of the main packages of floating offshore wind solutions, including WTGs, floater foundations, cables, mooring, anchoring, OSS, etc.Identify suppliers, vendors and contractors able to offer equipment/service/contract solutions fitting with the contract strategy.Support the technical team in managing negotiations with suppliers to identify workable specifications when the best technical options are not commercially viable.In cooperation with the Procurement manager, identify the widest possible vendor list of main packages, keep it continuously updated, implement SWOT analysis for the vendors included.Provide input to the Procurement Manager for identification of the most appropriate scoring model.Provide support to the Procurement Manager and the Legal team to negotiate contract with the selected vendors or contractors.Provide continuous input to the risk manager to keep the risk register updated with respect of the area within its responsibility.Key RequirementsEngineering Degree or other relevant degree.Good understanding of technical matters impacting the floating offshore wind industry.Strong relevant experience as active member of the team managing offshore wind projects or, alternatively, other capital intensive energy project.Covering technical role or leading supply chain function and associated processes, preferably in offshore wind.Track record in technical or commercial roles dealing with the supply chain or managing specific packages.Demonstrable experience assessing and managing risks for large scale infrastructure projects.Proven experience in applying qualitative and quantitative analysis on large scale projects.Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward manner.Proactive, problem solving and team building approach.Italian speaker and readerPay and benefitsWith a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
