Electrical Avionics Compliance Verification EngineerLocation: Emmen, SwitzerlandJob Type: Full-time, PermanentJob Description:The Electrical Avionics Compliance Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to avionics systems for aircraft. This role involves working on electrical systems and avionics components, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Verification of Avionics Systems: The engineer will be responsible for verifying that avionics systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.Compliance Assurance: Ensuring that all electrical and avionics systems meet certification requirements and safety standards set by aviation authorities.Testing and Validation: Conducting tests and validation procedures to verify the functionality and performance of electrical and avionics systems.Documentation: Maintaining accurate documentation of verification activities, test results, and compliance records.Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams including design engineers, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance teams to ensure compliance throughout the development process.Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to the development of best practices for avionics compliance verification.Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in compliance verification for avionics systems or electrical systems in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP4754.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
