Offer DescriptionThe Law School of the University of St.Gallen - School of Management, Economics, Law, Social Sciences, International Affairs, and Computer Science - is seeking candidates for a full or associate professorship in International and/or European Law (including the bilateral Swiss-EU relations) to take up employment per August 1, 2025, or as agreed upon. The employment level is 100%.To be considered for this position, applicants should have an excellent track record in research on one or both mentioned areas of law (completed habilitation thesis or equivalent postdoctoral qualifications). In addition, an interest in the Law School's strategic focus areas of Sustainability (social, ecological, and economic dimensions) and Innovation/Digitalisation (commercial law in the broadest sense) is desirable.Your research produces visible contributions to academic and public debates on questions of International and/or European law on the national and international level as well as in leading academic journals. You are willing to commit to interdisciplinary collaboration and to increasing the visibility of International and European Law also in our International Affairs Program. Relevant practical experience on the national or international level as well as demonstrated teaching skills top off your profile. You are able to teach International and European Law on all levels of legal education (Bachelor, Master, and doctoral programmes) in both German and English.The University of St.Gallen is an equal opportunity employer.
