Are you passionate about creating accurate simulations of analog circuits using SPICE models? Join us as an Analog Circuit Simulation Engineer and be at the forefront of modeling and analyzing the behavior of complex analog circuits. We're seeking individuals with a deep understanding of power electronics and demonstrated experience in SPICE modeling to drive our simulation efforts forward.RequirementsKey Responsibilities: * Product Definition: Define and develop power IC and board products with innovative features, engaging in idea and concept generation to meet customer and market-driven requirements.
  • System Solution Development: Participate in the development of compelling IC-based and board-based system solutions, leveraging modern simulation tools and building lab prototypes to validate new topology and product ideas.
  • Lab Prototyping: Be hands-on in the lab, actively participating in design verification testing and characterization, ensuring that products meet design specifications and performance requirements.
  • Power Supply Design: Design power supplies using Power Integrations solutions for validation and customer demonstration, collaborating with the IC design team to ensure implementation meets system requirements.
  • Collaboration: Interface with subcontractors and provide support to ensure successful product development and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • BSc/MSc degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronics/Power Electronics Design, with strong knowledge in power electronics, analog and mixed signal electronics.
  • Practical bench skills and confident user of lab equipment.
  • Experience with simulation tools and a systematic, result-oriented work style.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of power conversion topologies including flyback, forward, and half bridge for off-line use.
  • Knowledge of international EMC and electrical safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with gate drivers and power conversion topologies.
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage, high power testing.
  • Experience in transformer and/or inductor design.
  • Understanding of control loop theory and practice.
  • Proficiency in software/simulation tools such as Mathcad, Matlab, Python, LTspice, Simplis, Plecs.
  • Familiarity with digital circuit design, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and Verilog programming is a plus.
