This empowers BIL Suisse to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions tailored to their evolving requirements.PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe product owner plays a crucial role in driving the successful development and enhancement of products & services in area of client lifecycle management, digital client collaboration and internal channels by understanding client and organisational needs, setting priorities, and ensuring the external provider delivers valuable and high-quality products.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES· Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to the team, external provider, and stakeholders. Support PM in roadmap and overall yearly budget definition.· Supplier Management: Manages the commercial relationship with software/core banking provider for all aspects related to product (solution design, costs, development timeline) together with the Technology team.· Release Management: Ensure successful delivery and roll out of new product functionalities. Define release goals, scope, and schedule, ensuring that customer value is delivered in a timely manner and in the defined budget. Coordinate change management to ensure the anticipated return of investment / adoption.· Continuous Product Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the product's performance and gather feedback from customers and stakeholders. Use this information to identify opportunities for improvements.· Dependency and Process Management: Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact product delivery. Develop product TOM and align business processes & architecture with organizational objectives. Ensure processes and operational efficiency.· Product Backlog Management: Assess and manage new change request, ensuring that it reflects the needs and priorities of customers and stakeholders. Continuously refine and groom the backlog to ensure it is well-defined, estimated, and ready for development· Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate their input into the product backlog. Regularly communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders. Provide business support to the end-users collectively with the Product Owner team.· Collaboration and Leadership: Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and other product owners. Provide leadership and guidance to team, facilitating their understanding of the product vision.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE· Proven experience (9 years) as Product Owner or similar role in digital banking, FinTech or related industries. (4 years in digital private banking-international)· Solid understanding and exposure of client lifecycle management industry standards and best practices in the cross-border context.· Strong understanding of digital client collaboration channels (mobile & web banking and authentication)· Great know-how of internal collaboration tools for the front units and digital workplaces.· Proven track record of successfully delivering complex transformation projects end-to-end (business analysis, TOM definition, test, change and release management) in the digital products and solution area.· Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and presentation skills when interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and leading a cross-functional team.· Strong problem solving, and analytical skills understanding complex business problems and identify and address business needs in a client-centric manner.· Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
