Sustainability Reporting Analyst

Baar, SwitzerlandWe are looking for a dynamic Sustainability Reporting Analyst to support our HSEC (Health, Safety, Environment, Social Performance) and Human Rights team with our internal and external reporting needs. If you have a passion for sustainability and analytical reporting and enjoy working in a dynamic high performing team, this is the ideal role and team for you.The main tasks and responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate the monthly and quarterly sustainability reporting processes (check reporting completion by the business, analyse data, develop reports and dashboards, and engage with internal stakeholders), and recommend improvements to provide useful insights from our HSEC/ESG data to senior management
  • Support in the Annual Performance Indicator Review of the GCP Database (corporate ESG/sustainability database) and provide assistance in implementation of new indicators / required changes to the database
  • Coordinate the production of the HSEC Committee Report for the Board (checking reporting completion by the business, analysing data, developing reports, and engaging with internal stakeholders)
  • Coordinate HSEC/ESG data (collate, analyse, correct) and engage with internal stakeholders for input into the Glencore Annual Report and the Glencore Sustainability Report
  • Provide additional support to the reporting, systems and assurance team as requires
Qualifications and requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (e.g. sustainability, economics, engineering) or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years work experience in an analytical role
  • Attention to detail and deadlines, organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of international sustainability reporting standards and guidance (CSRD, GRI, SASB, ISSB, ICMM, etc.) and their practical application
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of visualisation tools like Tableau/PowerBI
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken and written); professional working proficiency in another Glencore corporate language (i.e. German, Spanish, Russian, French)
  • Swiss citizen, Swiss B/C permit or EU passport holder
