The primary responsibility of the position is to serve as a multi-disciplinary expert and scientific training resource for internal colleagues. Under the direction of Commercial and in close collaboration with the Medical Affairs and Marketing teams, the Scientific Training Manager will be responsible to provide scientific training, popularize medical content for training, and develop educational material. In addition, this role will also provide back up and support to Medical and Commercial teams on key projects.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Scientific Training Manager will make an impact:Key Responsibilities for This Role Include:Create and maintain training program data and tools to train staff and other stakeholders as needed.Liaise with Marketing and Medical departments to manage and provide scientific training for local sales team.Provide scientific support and training to Marketing and Sales teams as requested.Participate in the development of training materials and modules, in compliance with Viatris Policies and Procedures.Maintain scientific and technical expertise through review of scientific literature, attendance at assigned medical meetings and self-learning.Actively participates in Commercial and Medical Affairs planning and departmental activities.Make recommendations to training agenda or curriculum, as necessary.Maintain attendance logs, incident reports, and other necessary records.Act as a thought leader, mentor, and coach on continuous improvement tools.Ensure training and other projects comply with applicable regulations and internal policies.Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement.As part of Training Content select and develop FAQ’s (frequently asked questions) for specific therapeutic area’s and/or new molecules for review and approval by medical/compliance in line with procedures and integrate most relevant FAQ’s in training contents on allocated portfolioThe minimum qualifications for this role are:Masters’ degree in scientific field (PharmD, Biomed, Biology, etc.)Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Minimum 2 years’ experience in a scientific role.Previous experience as Training Officer/Manager highly recommended.Trilingual: NL/FR/EN.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Strong communication and presentation skills.Must demonstrate fluency in articulating scientific concepts and data.Must have good judgment, ability to adapt and change in a shifting environment.A strategic, passionate, self-starter who takes initiative.Must work well in large and small teams, ability to work remotely.At Viatris, we offer competitive salaries, benefits and an inclusive environment where you can use your experiences, perspectives and skills to help make an impact on the lives of others.Viatris is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
