The Business Transformation Partner is responsible for managing the project portfolio of a particular department, implementing cross-functional and/or complex programmes and developing the skills of the Transformation team.Responsibilities:
  • Establishing the business roadmaps in coordination with all the internal stakeholders of the concerned department (while taking into account the cross-functional impacts) in order to address the identified strategic changes.
  • Defining the scope of the programme and projects, analysing their impact on the different business lines concerned in order to have a clear idea of the needs, the objectives to be achieved and to submit a realistic offer, and ensuring the necessary resources for the execution of the projects.
  • Monitoring the roadmaps/projects in progress, communicating the status to the stakeholders, in order to carry out the projects entrusted to them according to a predefined timing, budget and objectives.
  • In collaboration with IT, integrating architecture recommendations and any strategic IT initiatives (e.g. cloud migration).
  • Identifying the E2E business capabilities needed to execute the strategy. Managing the transformation budgets (IT + cash) and preparing trade-offs.
  • Managing the key dependencies.
  • Monitoring the KPIs of the transformation department.
  • Personally supervising certain programmes with key business and IT stakeholders in line with strategic business objectives.
  • Setting up the programme to ensure successful delivery through strong governance and appropriate monitoring.
  • Overseeing and actively disseminating the programme, making recommendations, exploring alternative solutions, maintaining the pace and dynamics of the team.
  • Monitoring and reporting as and when required to ensure observance of the deadlines, budget, scope, quality of delivery, risk management and methodological and quality standards.
  • Throughout the programme, supporting an effective project team focused on process simplification, customer experience and digitalisation opportunities.
  • Nurturing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to manage expectations, anticipate risks and successfully deliver the programme outcome.
  • Stimulating and promoting the development and improvement of the quality of the processes and tools used in order to provide an optimal service to the internal customer.
  • Speeding up the Agile mindset, rituals and tools across functions.
  • Ensuring the coaching and permanent development of co-workers in order to set up a high-performance project team oriented towards the continuous improvement of the results of both processes and skills and meeting the expectations of the organisation.
  • Actively participating in building the skills of the Transformation team by:
  • Sharing experiences and lessons through hands-on training, mentoring and participation in project management practice.
  • Championing the transformation within the entire organisation by serving as a role model through their challenge-driven, solution-oriented and enthusiastic approach to driving change and highlighting AXA's values.
  • Developing a relationship of trust with major stakeholders.
  • Maintaining contacts with internal and external contacts in order to satisfy the wishes of the client (business) while defending the interests of the organisation.
Qualifications
  • Project and Programme Management experience (10 years)
  • Proven experience in the insurance business (products, processes, business solutions); particularly on Life & Health domain
  • Experience in presenting to top management
  • A passion for innovation, AI, digital
  • Experience in process management and reengineering
  • A highly-motivated self-starter
  • A customer-driven, results-driven problem solver
  • Strong analytical skills with a good holistic view
  • A knack for simplicity and simplification of complex concepts
  • Influencing, facilitation and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • A change mentality and a capacity to cope with pressure
  • Collaborative skills and a team spirit
  • Master's degree
  • Certificate in Programme Management
  • Bilingual level in Dutch and French and fluent English
