Are you ready to jump onboard?Test EngineerWe are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset - are you the one?We are looking for a Test Engineer with a main responsibility in component testing and validation on test rigs. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.What you will be doingAs a Test Engineer your work will include planning, organizing, and executing component, performance, and functionality tests on laboratory test rigs. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of an energetic Rig team in Testing &Validation as a part of Research & Technology testing with diverse expertise.Requirements for the position:

Relevant technical education (BSc in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering).
Mechanical / electrical assembly skills.
Good skills in communication and documentation.
Good command of English and Finnish or Swedish

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

A good balance between practical and theoretical skills. These skills are needed when
working with the test rigs, performing different tests, and validating the concepts.
A systematic way of working and taking responsibility. This is important in the testing and when reporting test results and findings.
Strive towards high quality by ensuring that the test results are reliable and in compliance with industry specific standards and Wärtsilä guidelines.
