We are on a mission to shape the future of the industry with new technologies and sustainable innovations.The GenAI Lighthouse team within KTI consists of innovators and problem solvers committed to empowering KONE with the capabilities of GenAI.We work together on daily basis in KTI among IT, R&D and Innovations team.We collaborate closely with KONE’s business teams to identify and address their needs, utilizing GenAI to develop solutions that are both pioneering and practical. Our objective is to drive innovation and efficiency, thereby enabling KONE to maintain its leadership position in the industry.We are now looking for aSenior Software Developerfor GenAI platform and services development, to join the KONE GenAI Lighthouse team, a group dedicated to leading the GenAI initiatives at KONE.You will be working in a small team to build GenAI Core platform services, applications, and proof-of-concepts for evaluation. This aims at building solutions that improve KONE’s operations and customer value.The position is based in Espoo, Finland and you will report to Lulu Zhang, Head of Technology and ServicesKey Responsibilities:

Software design and development for GenAI core platform services and front-end applications.
Development of PoCs for technology evaluation.
Work closely with Product owners and feature team to design and develop new features, unit, and integration testing.
Adapt with trends and technologies in GenAI applicability to our projects to drive innovation.
Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, and demos.

Qualifications:

Experience with JS Framework technologies like React (Preferably), Angular, or Vue.
Experience with Typescript, Database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Experience with some responsive design frameworks and technologies: SCSS, SASS, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.
Experience with AWS technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFormation, CDK, Amazon Q, Bedrock). Other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) are a plus.
Experience in or understanding of GenAI, data science, and machine learning technologies is a plus.
Solid experience in backlog management, and experience with using JIRA and confluence.
Proven ability to work in virtual teams, excelling in emotional intelligence to foster inspiration, collaboration, and a psychologically safe workspace
