- Sales Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to engage potential customers
- Leverage your engineering background to provide in-depth technical knowledge during customer interactions.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, ensuring they have the necessary technical resources and information.
- Develop sales collateral, technical documentation, and other materials to aid in sales presentations.
- Customer Presentations:
- Represent the technical and product teams in front of customers, delivering compelling presentations that showcase our solutions and address customer concerns.
- Bids and proposals:
- Responding to request for quotations (RFQs)
- Contributing to unsolicited bids to enhance business opportunities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to stay abreast of product roadmaps, features, and updates.
- Gather necessary information from internal teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries.
- Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, demonstrating a successful track record.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes: background can be in information technology, complex systems etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and market dynamics.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
