- Organize operations within assigned work area and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules in the most
- Conduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals, and communicate weekly work plans in zone.
- Monitor performance to metrics and utilize problem solving skills to drive appropriate improvement.
- Identify training gaps and provide recommendations on developing skills and training needs and develop and mentor team members
- Identify CI opportunities by determining root cause and developing a corrective action plan.
- Recommend workplace layouts, production methods, and production efficiencies by auditing operations to improve production flow
- Recommend and expedite the servicing and repair of equipment and facilities and realign production sequences to accommodate
- Perform and support scheduled audits by zone to identify and correct safety, compliance, delivery, and other risk.
- Communicate with production control, logistics, assembly team, fabrication team, engineering, and parts and accessories to support
- Support efforts toward hiring and retention of shop floor employees and manage time and attendance, performance, and employee
- Encourage positive employee morale, engagement of entire workforce and ensure a safe and productive environment for all team
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Years of Experience: 4 or more years of manufacturing experience required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred
