  • Promote Advanced Process Control (APC) as a key component in our Digitalization journey.
  • Maintain, develop and continuously improve process control solutions for sustainability, energy and operability.
  • Lead and execute APC studies and projects togheter with the central APC team and suppliers.
  • Promote and live innovative thinking and strive for “fit for purpose” solutions that ensures APC contribution to the plant profitability.
  • Provide training, advice and expert guidance to plant operators, engineers and production management.
Please note that this role requires limited business travel activity as part of a global APC community in Borealis.About youWe expect you to have an engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Automation and/or Process Control, and at least 3 years of experience in working with APC and Process Control. Preferably you have already been working in the petrochemical / polymer industry. In this role you need solid skills in process modelling and simulations tools, multivariable process control, DCS and Basic Process Control.Excellent analytical and communication skills, combined with enjoying to share knowledge with others, will help you succeed in this role. We are proudly an international company, so you will need fluent verbal and written English and Finnish.
