This role involves managing a team of specialists tasked with ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across various systems and departments. The MDM Manager collaborates closely with stakeholders from different business units to establish data governance policies, define data standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and usability.Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement MDM strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards
  • Lead data quality initiatives, including cleansing and validation processes
  • Lead and mentor MDM team, fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships and integration
  • Provide expertise and guidance on data management best practices
  • Drive change management initiatives to promote MDM adoption across the organization
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience (10 years) in master data management, data governance, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and technologies
  • Experience with SAP MDG or similar platforms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results
  • Certification in MDM or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP, DAMA)
