- Survey Design: Develop a survey protocol using the SMART methodology, ensuring it is adapted to the rapid assessment context.
- Sampling: Design a sampling strategy that adequately represents the target population within the constraints of a rapid survey.
- Data Collection: Supervise and participate in the data collection process, ensuring adherence to the SMART guidelines.
- Data Analysis: Analyze the collected data to produce reliable estimates of malnutrition indicators.
- Reporting: Prepare a comprehensive survey report detailing findings and recommendations,
- A detailed survey protocol, including sampling frame and data collection tools.
- A final report presenting the analysis, findings, and recommendations, including an executive summary suitable for dissemination.
- Advanced degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting nutritional assessments using the SMART methodology.
- Strong statistical analysis skills, particularly in handling survey data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in the local language of the survey area is an asset.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
