BPM aims to lead AZ in achieving scientific leadership, being a great place to work, and keeping patients at the core of everything we do.BPM Evidence is accountable for the delivery of global strategic studies required to generate the evidence to build the confidence on AZ therapies and additional observational research and externally sponsored research required by Global Product Teams.The Director, Real World Data (RWD) Technology & Governance is an exciting new role that reports directly to the Senior Director, RWD Office and will be a strong force in realizing the benefits of emerging innovation in RWD and applying them to AZ therapeutic area strategies. This role will be accountable for driving the availability and governance of RWD sources, platforms, and technologies for medical and cross-functional partners to advance patient care. They will serve as internal expert on emerging technologies and solutions for generating RWE, including AI, tokenization, and federated learning. The incumbent will be a curious learner who excels at connecting the dots among new technologies/new RWD access models and disease area needs. The Director will be at ease when ideating on where Artificial Intelligence can help and adept at working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful RWD solutions.
