https://www.acu.edu.au/about-acu/faculties-directorates-and-staff/faculty-of-health-sciences/school-of-allied-healthAbout the role:As the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) Curriculum and Pedagogy Coordinator in Speech Pathology, you will make significant contributions to the leadership, development and implementation of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University. You will provide discipline-specific cultural and academic expertise and leadership in embedding the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of Knowing, Doing and Being into the Bachelor of Speech Pathology curriculum. You will work with the speech pathology team to build the capability and cultural responsiveness of staff to engage in these areas of teaching and learning.In order to advance the relationships with Indigenous health sectors and the school, the coordinator will work with the School of Allied Health First Nations Strategy Advisory Committee, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Elders and mentors, as well as external stakeholders including Indigenous Allied Health Australia, in order to advance the relationships with Indigenous health sectors and the school. - Total remuneration valued to $168,512 - $182,954 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $142,625 - $154,969 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
