- Drive the product- and business-planning processes across cross-functional teams for the applications
- Analyse customer needs, ongoing market trends, and potential partnerships from a value-add perspective
- Partner with the business to assess other offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
- Develop / Analyse product requirements and create appropriate projects to ensure they are delivered on time, in budget with customer satisfaction at the forefront of all deliverables
- Develop, implement, and maintain development timelines across the products / applications using a blend of AGILE & Waterfall methodologies
- Ownership of product end-to-end lifecycle both internally and the software development partner
- Manage the deployment of new product/functionality and upgrades in partnership with business stakeholders and third parties
- Facilitate the trouble shooting of application issues between the customer and third parties, driving progress and minimising impacts on the business
- Own the relationship across the business
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by outsourced and internal software engineering teams
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Analyse market data to develop growth strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications
- Collaborate closely across the organisation in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organisation
- Develop product positioning and messaging
- Triaging application issues with Third parties and users while taking ownership to drive satisfactory outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and more than 6 years commercial experience with strong experience in a product management /owner role managing core software applications for a large business
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills (Fluent English to native standard)
- Prior experience in software development lifecycle & QA across Waterfall and AGILE
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functionally
- Experience in delivering finely tuned product strategies
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Previous experience in software/web development in your early career with good technical knowledge around SQL / MySQL / LAMP Stack
