In Axa Partners we are looking for our next IT Operations Manager!AXA Partners aims at becoming AXA Group preferred networks & Service Company and a powerhouse for partnerships development as a founding entity of AXA Partners. A key enabler for this business transformation will be the IT Operations Tribe in charge of delivering and maintaining IT solutions and services for all the entities within the region.As part of this team, the IT Operations manager owns a portfolio of IT solutions and services that will support the strategy of one or several entities of the region. He/she will play a key role in AXA Partners IT transformation by leveraging technology innovations to anticipate and implement end-to-end relevant evolutions.The Iberia IT Operations Manager is in charge of the Local IT Operations Squad (Spain & Portugal) providing technology delivery capabilities, such as Workplace Support, Infrastructure and Cloud, Network and Telephony, Quality of Services, and is accountable for its associated costs.In partnership with business application development, security, BCM and ITSCM areas, the role holder ensure delivery expectations are met (On Time, On Business, On Scope, On Quality), and solutions are aligned against the target architecture, group standards and security guidelines.The role holder will be in charge of defining service level agreements with the business and monitoring the service delivery with the outsourcing partners, and must maintain and advocate a long-term vision of IT solutions proposed to the business for the squad perimeter under his/her responsibility.Key metrics of the job:- Estimated number of IT Solutions and services to manage: 15 to 30- Estimated budget under responsibility: between 500K€ to 1M€ (BAU+ Projects) according to the entity size- Number of users to support: 1400- Size of Internal IT Professionals to manage: 8 to 12 people- Total size of the squad’s to manage including externals: 8 to 12 people *those figures are indicative.What does your daily role entail?1) Manage operationally the delivery of BAU and Projectso Anticipate and deliver IT roadmap on his/her perimetero Manage & optimize the BAU and Project budget on his/her perimetero He / She validates that IT policies and procedures utilize best practices, technological standards and are efficiently documented.o He / She supervises the lifecycle of the technology components.o Provide KPIs and reports on business demands and projects progression, attention / decision pointso Ensuring the excellence of solution analysis, implementation, test, deployment and rollback planso Preserve assets availability by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security and control standards.o Ensure AXA Partners’ IT Infrastructure is performing securely and efficiently within agreed metric.o Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standardso Manage external partners and oversee relationships to ensure first class IT services, ensuring suppliers provide appropriate support, but ultimate ownership, decision making and documentation is owned and overseen through the internal team.o Create and maintain 7*24 environment assuming strong SLA on main systems and services such as Networks, Servers, Telephony, Storage and Workplace support.2) Contribute to the applicative strategy on his perimeter:o Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.o He / She develops objectives and strategies for the delivery of IT (both hardware and software) within the company.o He / She maintains information technology strategies by managing staff, researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.o Defining a long term vision of the solutions in his/her portfolioo Proactively conduct technology research and provide new technologies and methods utilization proposalso The role aligns the core infrastructure and security environments within the organisation with to the overall company strategy and core company competencies.3) Leading a team of IT Professionalso Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.o Building and keeping internally the Teams’ area expertiseo Leading an IT team towards Global IT Visiono Mentor and coaches IT professionals within the organizationo Define operating model / framework, capacity planning and resource allocationo Lead operationally both internal and outsourced contributors and define sourcing strategyo Define quality and ethical standards within the team4) Be part of the regional IT communityo Take part in the community to develop best practices and new standards.o Take part in the training sessions in order to develop required hard/soft skillso Cooperate with IT Global Infrastructure in the feasibility analysis for new solutionso Cooperate with financial analysts in estimating the costs and benefits of new solutions,o Cooperate with Security Information Office to ensure secure solutionso Partnership with Application Development, BCM and ITSCM to build and run solutions that meet business expectations#LI-SPQualificationsTechnical skills and experience:
  • Full proficiency in English and Spanish are required
  • +5 years of experience as an IT Operations Manager or IT Infrastructure / Service Desk Lead within an International environment
  • +5 years in direct reports management
  • +5 years of experience in vendor management
  • Experience in IT Project management
  • Experience in Service Delivery management
  • Overview of existing and new technologies
  • Experience in Workplace services
  • IT Security knowledge and risk analysis ability
  • Proven experience in defining and presenting technology solutions
  • Expertise in Cloud infrastructure (PaaS, IaaS)
  • Experience in IT portfolio and budget management with proven track of cost control/improvement
  • Solid experience in defining implementation, deployment, test and rollback plans
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation
  • The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Proven experience within an ITIL Organization
  • Desirable: ITIL and Project Management Certified (Prince 2, PMP, Agile)
  • Valuable: CISCO, VMware, Simplivity, Azure, Avaya, Avamar experience and/or certified
