The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide a contract administration service in respect of supply chain management.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 2 years experience in Supply Chain Management.
RecommendationA valid code B (or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Key Performance AreasMonitor, analyse and determine actions to ensure proper contract administration; Monitor contract compliance; Monitor supplier performance according to the contract and service level agreement; People Management.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Policy development; Financial norms and standards (Public Finance Management Act-PFMA; National Treasury regulations (NTR's), Provincial Treasury Directives/Instructions-PTI's); General Conditions of the Contract; Contract Management Guidelines; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and PPPFA Regulations. BEE; Procurement activities; Procurement policies/procedures/contract management; Document management Enterprise Content Management (ECM), inclusive of registry services and policy and procedures governing these functions; Report writing. Skills in the following: Planning and organising; Interpersonal skills; Numeracy; Analytical; Conflict Management; Literacy; Driving; Computer literacy; Written and verbal communication skills; Problem Solving; Decision Making; Creative Thinking; Accounting Finance and Audit.
RemunerationR 308 154 per annum (Salary level 7)Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
