Job Summary Starken Engineering is currently looking for a qualified Technician / Machinist who has worked on any of the following power stations before eg: Medupi, Kusile, Arnot, Koeberg, Duvha, and did Onsite Machining. Must have Knowledge of the following. Heavy Engineering Machine shop Environments. Milling Machines Including Universal Horizontal boring Machines Surface grinder Cylindrical grinder Line boring Machines ( Climax portable Machines ) Weld preparation machine Flange facing Machine Machining complex and precision finishes in large and small industrial components CNC programming SAQA NQF LEVEL 4 Onsite drilling and hydraulic drilling Cold cutting Pipelines and Machine shop Engineering Must be able to speak English, must be able to work with people, must have good workmanship.
