- Responsible for Leading, supporting and executing all technology risk analysis & modeling, including Annualized Loss Exposure; Event Frequency; Calibrated Forecasting; Sensitivity Analysis; Risk Spend Efficiency ($); and Return on Investment (ROI) %.
- Leverage scientific & stochastic modeling techniques, such as Monte Carlo Analysis, to model technology risk.
- Operationalise uncertainty modeling and decision analytics.
- Ensure robust, quantitative risk measurement techniques are utilised throughout all technology risk measurement initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive training to Technology staff on all aspects of the Technology Risk & Decision Science programme.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to develop structured loss scenarios with a view to building aggregated reporting on Apexâs Technology annualised loss profile.
- Support the development of effective quantitative reporting requirements, as well as provide representation in relevant committee meetings.
- Enforce adherence to all aspects of the Technology Risk & Decision Science Standard.
- Collaborate across the organisations with other departments, such as other Technology teams, Finance, Client Services, Legal, and Compliance in support of Technology Risk & Decision Science objectives.
- Develop the Technology Risk & Decision Science team globally to support end-to-end risk requirements.
- Assist Technology Control Architecture, as well as any other security teams, on tasks when necessary.
- Responsible for overseeing all the development, governance and leading of Apexâs Technology Operation & Security Controls Inventory.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to identify and govern all technology controls.
- Operationalise the Technology Control Architecture framework.
- Ensure robust, quantitative risk measurement techniques and utilized throughout all Technology Risk measurement initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive training to Technology staff on all aspects of the Technology Risk & Control Architecture programme.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to develop structured loss scenarios with a view to building aggregated reporting on Apexâs Technology annualised loss profile.
- Quantitatively measure and report KRIs based on control operating effectiveness.
- Provide representation in relevant committee meetings.
- Enforce adherence to all aspects of the Technology Control Architecture Standard.
- Collaborate across the organisations with other departments, such as other Technology teams, Finance, Client Services, Legal, and Compliance in support of Technology Control Architecture objectives.
- Develop the Technology Control Architecture team globally to support end-to-end risk requirements.
- Assist Technology Risk & Decision Science, as well as any other security teams, on tasks when necessary.
- Bachelorâs degree preferable
- In-depth experience operating and leading Technology teams in a large multi-national organisation.
- Detailed understanding of core Technology Risk & Decision Science principles and requirements.
- Familiarity or experience with the FAIR methodology and or ISO 31000.
- Leadership skills in complex, fast-paced business environments, including ability to coordinate multiple tasks in various locations and time zones.
- Deep programme management experience managing local and global initiatives.
- Experience working on projects in the financial services industry would be an advantage.
- Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in a wide range of Technology disciplines.
- Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
- Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.
- High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact with senior leadership. Excellent command of verbal and written communication (English). Effective presentation style for all levels of stakeholders.
