Our client in Mechanical Manufacturing has a vacancy for a CNC Machine Setter and Programmer at their operation in Maitland. The purpose of this role is setting and programming CNC machinery for production.Responsibilities:

Machine Setup and Operation
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Quality Assurance
Safety and Compliance
Documentation and Reporting
CNC programming
Drawings and measurements

Qualifications and Experience:

Trade certification as a Machine Setter Artisan (A Grade) in accordance with the MEIBC Main Agreement.
Familiarity with a variety of machining processes, including milling, turning, TURN-MILL.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens machine controls.
Experience with CAM software (Exp. Fusion 360 or FeatureCAM or similar).
Swiss Type Machine experience advantageous
