- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Facilitate internal and external audits with precision and efficiency
- Dive deep into financial data to provide actionable insights on business performance, trends, and variances
- Craft management reports and presentations to guide senior leadership.
- Collaborate on the development of group budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and streamline intercompany transactions during consolidation
- Partner with the tax department to uphold compliance with tax regulations and contribute to tax planning and reporting efforts
- Identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting processes
- Implement best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Foster clear communication and alignment on financial matters by liaising with internal stakeholders, including business units, finance teams, and senior management
- Leverage financial software and tools to manage and report on financial data effectively.
- Play a role in maintaining and improving financial systems

- CTA
- CA(SA)
- 6-8 years post-articles experience (preferably in a fast-paced environment)
- Proven experience in preparation of: Group consolidations, Group technical accounting, Reporting, and Group taxation
- Proven experience in preparation of group consolidated AFS (Annual Financial Statements) in line with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for synthesizing complex financial data.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment, working seamlessly across departments
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior and integrity in financial reporting
