as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software.
- Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Generate stock reports and analyze data to identify trends and potential stock issues.
- Coordinate with purchasing and couriers to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
- Implement and enforce stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the stock control function.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field experience preferred.
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
