A completed Matric, with a Diploma in HR advantageous, coupled with 3-5 years Payroll and HR Administration experience. KPI's include: Ensuring accurate collation of payroll data, new engagements, terminations, overtime, increase and leave schedules; capturing payroll data; attend payroll queries from staff and management; payroll month-end general ledger reconciliation reports for medical aid, provident fund and union; capturing all manual leave on Peopleware payroll system, update and reporting; ensuring monthly PAYE (EMP201) returns accurate and correct; good understanding of payroll tax legislation and tax year-end process for IRP5 update and distribution of IRP5's and payroll reports; HR Administration : maintain and update personnel records; update internal databases (ie record all types of leave); prepare HR documents for employment contracts, transfer letters, promotion letters etc; co-ordinate onboarding process; liaise with external service providers, medical aids, provident funds insurance and ensure legal compliance; co-ordinate recruitment; compile BBBEE file for verification; co-ordinate EE committee meetings; update training and development database and update and submit Stats SA information. Exposure to Peopleware, Sage 300 People or VIP Payroll essential, with good working knowledge of the SA Labour Legislation, EE and Skills Development.
