- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, key stakeholders, and industry influencers to position the company as a preferred partner.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and client services teams to ensure alignment and maximize business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, tailored to their specific needs and objectives.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate new business leads.
- Preferable Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management role with a minimum of 5 years industry relevant experience in FMCG Sector.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and pursue business opportunities.
