Introduction:THE ABOVE POSITION HAS BECOME AVAILABLE AT TRITON EXPRESS DURBAN, REPORTING TO THE FINANCE MANAGERDescription:RESPONSIBILITIES:Full accounting function up to trial balancePreparation of revenue reconciliationsPreparing month end and year end journalsProcessing of COD and creditors paymentsInvoicingMonthly reviewing of accountsReconciling of balance sheet accountsMaintaining of fixed asset registerCalculating and submitting of monthly VATReviewing of selected company taxPreparing of annual budgetsPreparing of year end audit file and liaising with auditorsReviewing of financial statementsEnsuring compliance and administration of SADC regional entitiesSubmitting of returns to regulatory bodiesPreparing of monthly reporting packsEngaging with various stakeholdersSupporting and assisting various managersAny fair request of this positionRequirements:MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from a reputable institutionServed articles in a reputable audit firmMinimum of 2 years experience in an Accountant positionADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Fundamental understanding of IFRS and IASSound knowledge of VAT, Income Taxes and Payroll TaxesHigh level of proficiency as a user of software/accounting packages (preferably SAGE products)Overall technical proficiencyAdvanced Microsoft Office knowledgeAbility to travel when requiredOwn car and valid drivers licenseStrong attention to detail and analytical skillSADC regional accounting and administration experience will be advantageousAbility to work independently and handle pressure well
