ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Open to South Africans and foreign nationals for full-time research at the University of Fort Hare.
  • Preference is given to South African citizens and permanent residents
  • Young and emerging scholars
  • Graduated with a PhD degree in a relevant discipline within the last five years.
  • Successful applicants may not hold full-time salaried employment during the fellowship.
  • Successful applicants must be able to relocate to the UFH for the duration of the fellowship.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:
  • Conduct innovative research on institutional culture and the student experience at the UFH
  • Author/co-author at least three (3) publication outputs per year in the form of DHET–accredited scholarly journal articles or books/chapters in
  • The successful candidate will be required to conduct innovative research and obtain evidenced-based empirical data on Teacher education and developments in relation to Economics Education and Economic and Management Sciences (EMS).
The postdoctoral research fellow shall reside in East London to access facilities at UFH East London Campus and participate in relevant activities of the School of Postgraduate Studies.VALUE OF THE FELLOWSHIP:
