Vacancy: Manufacturing Technology Lead Process Engineer Location: Global - UK, India or USA Job Family: Engineering As the Lead Process Engineer you will complete manufacturing capability and processes assessments with the aim of continual improvement in capabilities that drive product reliability and sustainability into the future. The role works closely with the Manufacturing Sites and R&D product teams to efficiently support delivery of new products, new capabilities, cost savings, and sustainability goals. This role will initiate improvement projects across CT for existing processes and champion the development of the CT manufacturing process flowsheets of the future. Your responsibilities: Develops broad expertise for all Operations equipment, capabilities, and processes used in CT to produce products across all CT Manufacturing sites. Assesses current manufacturing capabilities and looks to identify gaps and other opportunities for improvement via new equipment technologies and/or modification of existing equipment and processes. Carries out basic engineering technical and economic assessments as required in support of team objectives. Actively looks for and identifies opportunities to increase production rates of components and products, reduce waste, lessen energy use burden, and achieve sustainability targets. Takes direction from the Process and Manufacturing Technology Manager to deliver components of the strategic improvement plan Supports technology and scale up trials as appropriate, including managing technology related aspects at 3rd party tolling organizations Requirements for the role: Degree in Engineering related discipline or Process Engineering related experience Understanding manufacturing process, process controls, and process measurement systems Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation and controls devices, equipment, and systems Strong commitment to sound EHS principals 5+ years' demonstrated experience (directly or supporting) chemical manufacturing environment with strong ties to business and manufacturing support projects Strong and demonstrated people and technical project management experience How you will be rewarded: We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift-based roles).
