RPO Recruitment's client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Tailings Engineer in Gauteng.Responsibilities:

Assist in designing tailings storage facilities.
Conduct site investigations and surveys for environmental assessment.
Aid in the development and implementation of tailings management plans.
Support monitoring and maintenance activities for tailings facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical challenges.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Contribute to risk assessments and contingency planning.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering
5 years' experience within the mining industry
