Personal injury law firm seeks an experienced legal assistant with personal injuries or insurance litigation experience | 1 on 1 role to a Solicitor | wfh 2 days a week after training...Personal Injuries - Work Cover, Motor Vehicle and PIPA claimsSupporting 1 SolicitorMinimum of 2 years personal Injuries or Insurance Litigation legal assistant experience is essentialThe roleAs a Personal Injuries Legal Assistant, you will be working for a Senior Solicitor. Duties involve dealing with clients, amending documents and correspondence, preparation and collating Briefs to Counsel, maintaining bring up lists, diary management, client enquiries, drafting notice claim forms, searches, drafting correspondence, arranging medical appointments, arranging compulsory conferences, obtain details of any refunds owing, billings, requesting clearances/charges from statutory departments and general administrative duties. You will work on MVA, PIPA and Workcover files.Your experienceYou will have a minimum of 2 years Personal Injuries or Insurance Litigation Legal Assistant experience. A minimum of 60 wpm and intermediate Word skills are also essential.Culture of the firm / Salary / BenefitsFriendly and supportive environment. Boutique progressive law firm with 16 staff that specialise in Personal Injury law. Yearly salary and performance reviews, flexible hours and offer wfh up to 2 days a week after training.
