One of our telecommunication clients is looking for a Bilingual (French) Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric Guidance Review - Pharmacology
Length: 12 Months Contract with a possibility of extension
Location: FULLY REMOTE (Anywhere in Canada)The professional will ensure that the RAPIDS Guidance Report adheres to the program standards and is clinically free of errors before delivering to the treating physician.
RAPIDS is clinical research software launched by our telecommunication client three years ago and due to the increasing prevalence of mental health issues, there is a shortage of personnel to treat patients.
- The software supports conditions such as bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
- It gathers information input by clinicians and generates comprehensive reports detailing diagnoses and recommended treatments, reducing the risk of misdiagnosis.
- It is a rule-based system, not AI-driven.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Determine when guidance requires a psychiatrist to review and log defects as required.
  • Review of the Psychiatric Guidance reports as part of the quality assurance process
  • Oversee the report generated by the RAPIDS product/system.
  • Implement a two-tier review process, ensuring accuracy before the report is sent to clinicians.
  • Participate in the ongoing learning and continuous improvement system which is the basis of Quality Assurance and current program requirements and standards.
  • Completing all appropriate notes and summaries to comply with program policy and procedures.
  • Address any questions from clinicians and receive training directly from treating physicians.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and report any bugs in the system. (can be easily trained on this)
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
  • Bilingualism (French, English)- Excellent communication skills in both French & English, written and spoken
  • Candidates having at least five years of experience in outpatient clinics or hospitals, with a background in psychiatry/mental health.
  • Knowledge of mental health clinical practice and pharmacology
  • Comfort with online tools and electronic medical records
Nice to have skills:
  • Previous knowledge of virtual services, employee assistance programs, disability products or insurance industry would be an asset
  • Doctorate level degree in psychiatry, pharmacology, (foreign or domestic)
