Strong retail administration and management experience, relating to receiving, admin, capturing, till operations, cash controls, stock control and sales floor
Management of fresh food, perishables, fruit and vegetables, poultry, meat, bakery and/or non-food departments
Basic financial skills
Ensure market awareness by conducting ongoing analysis of market trends, competitors and customers’ needs and initiate action arising from analysis
Effective interaction with suppliers, management, reps and staff
Excellent customer service skills
Strong analytical skills and time management
Manage, develop and motivate staff by reflecting the company’s vision and values

Boxes to tick…MatricTertiary educationMinimum of 3 years working experience in the retail/restaurant sector at management level.Food experience essential - either restaurant or retail manager, preferable retailHave a solid track record with referencesLooking for someone that can hit the ground running and take some initiativeStrong organisation skills, and there will be quite a lot of admin in the role so need someone that is comfortable with that.Financial acumen - familiarity with targets and marginsEye for detail - will be responsible for ensuring shop looks perfect, merchandising experience preferableCovid level 2 trading hours:9am - 5pm weekdays9am - 3pm SaturdayClosed on Sundays.
