- Degree in Electronic Engineering.
- ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist preferred. Candidates without registration must have a clear plan and timeline to achieve registration.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in electronic engineering, with a focus on systems engineering and project/contract management.
- Exposure to the implementation and testing of toll/billing or similar electronic systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant industry standards, specifications, and legislation.
- Experience with transactional systems such as billing systems, toll operations, and traffic management systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, lighting systems, and power monitoring systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to approach complex problems systematically.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and administrative skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
- Experience in testing and acceptance of electronic systems against prescribed requirements and standards.
- General knowledge of networked and distributed computer systems in a client-server architecture.
