Production Engineer

• Regularly conduct inspections of production equipment include D.I water system, mixing vessels, piping, electric scale and other accessories and spare parts.
• Establish preventive maintenance plan. Coordinate with Production Supervisor to observe and ensure preventive maintenance and repair maintenance activities are performed properly following safety rule and deliver proper quality of work.
• Analyze production processes to identify and work out ideas to improve critical aspects such as production efficiency, energy consumption, wastes reduction, product quality and HSE concerns. Participate with production team to troubleshoot, investigate root cause, and work out preventive action plan upon the issues or non-conformity points.
• Proactively contribute and lead production team to implement Operational excellence practices, include waste reduction (TIMWOOD), reporting of improvement ideas (point kaizen / kaizen project), inventory management, visual management and other applicable ideas from Lean production or Operational excellence concept.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulation (FSS), include safety in chemical handling, safety rule in forklift truck operation, regulation on health and environment protection, instruction to use Personal protection equipment (PPE), …
• Plan and implement regular safety audit, risk assessment to identify and manage hazards and risks in the production working environment. Responsible for ensuring the conformity to the requirement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Analyze impact of input factors and in-process factors to the reliability of product quality, propose appropriate quality control measures to maintain and improve product quality stability. Participate with production team to troubleshoot, investigate root cause and work out preventive action upon issues related to products, quality of service or transportation. Ensure conformity with the requirement from ISO 9001 management system.
• According to the assignment from factory manager, to manage projects for process improvement, equipment upgrade, factory expansion, including project planning, budgeting, vendor selection and evaluation, project timeline and project commissioning.
• Manage documentation and reporting, including to ensure accuracy of production record, process measurement data, commissioning record, maintenance and repairing record, ensure safety accident and other health or environmental incident are reported in time. This responsibility includes generating proper reports and KPI measurement to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Bachelor degree, prefer major in chemistry.
