- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in ensuring projects adhere to design, budget, and schedule parameters.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and project standards and procedures.
- Aid in preparing scopes of work and negotiating contracts.
- Assist in maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare change proposals and manage change orders.
- Assist in soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to the preparation of project schedules and cost estimates.
- Participate in various project meetings and document discussions.
- Assist in preparing owner pay applications, change order requests, and claims.
- Help maintain subcontractor pay requisitions and project logs.
- Support monthly profitability and Work in Place forecasts.
- Maintain knowledge of project documents and generate closeout documents.
- Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders.
- Keep Project Manager informed of project issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as required by supervising personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Science preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction Industry.
- Experience in multi-family construction is advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
- Willingness to travel to out-of-town projects.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and company values.
- Work may occur in office or field settings, requiring physical agility.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions and moderate to loud noise levels.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
