You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Wealth Management Middle Office Specialist provides back office support for the Wealth Management business segment. The Wealth Management Middle Office Core Unit consists of the following teams: Account Services (Cash Processing and the Closely Held Group), Custody Services, Fees, Corporate Trust Operations and Natural Resources and Real Estate (NRRE) Operations.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvides specialized administrative support to the Wealth Management business segment, including transactions processing for firm-specific assets, client bill pay services, wire transfers and check disbursementsCreates detailed analytical reports and ad hoc reports for projects, Front Office associates and ManagementInterprets the details of proper trust accounting, reversals and corrections of transactions including free movements, cash disbursements and gain/loss activityPosts pending trades to allow for the timely settlement of securities trades by SEITracks and resolves failed tradesAdministers bond payments, transfers processing, and balances daily paymentsOversees fee setup, maintenance, billing, and collection in the Wealth Management systemResolves problems and answers questions from internal customersThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.RequirementsHigh School diploma or GEDTwo (2) years experience in banking/financial services industry or College DegreeSkill and CompetenciesAbility to multitask with minimal supervisionDemonstrates a willingness to learn and apply new concepts and can adapt well to changeDemonstrates the ability to identify and resolve common issues/problemsGood analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detailProficient verbal and written communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office products and programsAdditional Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review loan paperwork for discretionary trust accounts
  • Review pre-acceptance documents from Trust Advisors for new loans
  • Ensure timely receipt of documents from Trust Advisors to set up loan in Petro Data
  • Listen to weekly PTWG of upcoming loans that may need to come to NRRE
  • Maintain daily balance and review for timely processing of payments/remittance of loans
  • Monthly reporting of Delinquent Loans
Additional Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrates an ability to perform tasks and duties with minimal management supervision
  • Familiarity with Loans, Promissory Notes, and Mortgages for Trust accounts
  • Excellent organizational skills
This position is a part of Middle Office's Natural Resources and Real Estate (NRRE) Operations team.This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.Position Type Full timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
