Position Overview: The EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations at our manufacturing and construction sites. The EHS Manager will collaborate with the project management and operations teams to proactively identify, develop, and implement safety and environmental management systems and processes in accordance with OSHA standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of EHS plans, policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Organize and coordinate safety training and education programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to identify safety or health hazards and develop corrective action plans.
  • Perform regular field inspections to identify and assess hazards and make recommendations.
  • Advise and collaborate with project managers and operations teams on safety matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
  • Investigate accidents and implement corrective action plans.
  • Develop and maintain reports, records, and other documentation related to safety activities.
  • Ensure safety awareness and compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and build relationships.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make decisions.
  • Nice to have: experience in building materials, commercial, fabrication, metals, and/or steel industries.
