Join our client, a forward-thinking manufacturing facility at the forefront of medical device innovation, as a Buyer. In this role, you will play a vital part in supplier management, purchase order management, and sourcing and quoting activities.At our client's innovative manufacturing facility, they are dedicated to developing cutting-edge medical devices that make a difference in people's lives.Responsibilities:Impactful Supplier Management: Collaborate with our Supply Chain management team to create a best-in-class Planning and Production Control organization with our suppliers to meet production needs.Forecasting Excellence: Work closely with Planning and Project teams to gather, validate, and challenge ongoing monthly forecasts. Your expertise in new product development and introduction will be invaluable in translating customer demand into an executable production plan.Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy and communicate findings to stakeholders. You will also manage production planning and change order management, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the product lifecycle.Inventory Optimization: Coordinate inventory management tools and techniques, such as Kanban, Min-Max, and Re-order Point, to address business needs effectively. Your expertise in ERP systems will be essential in generating accurate and value-added MRP signals.Cross-functional Collaboration: Assist in the development and implementation of new products and product transitions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure a smooth and successful integration.Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a technical discipline.3-5 years of experience as a Buyer, demonstrating your expertise in procurement and supplier management.Experience in a regulated industry, preferably the medical industry, will be highly advantageous.Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Strong background in forecasting, production planning, inventory control, and supplier management.APICS/ISM Certification is a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional development.ONSITE Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.If you are passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry and thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment, we invite you to apply.
