DESCRIPTIONSenior Customs Operations Lead is a part of Amazon's internal Customs Brokerage Operation.
The Operations Lead is a technically competent, hands-on driver of process change and high-
level Compliance and Classification determination. The Lead is responsible for advice and
guidance for our Customs Brokerage Entry Team. Beyond our Customs Team, it is critical this
position builds strong client relationships as a proactive business partner resulting in his/her
being a solution provider. The Lead anticipates client needs and educates on Tariff Classification
and Compliance requirementsKey job responsibilities
Our Classification Lead serves to support for our Customs Brokerage Entry Team with technical
Customs advice and decision making. The Lead will make daily determinations on Customs
Entries based on shipment details and guide the Entry Team to make compliant Entry decisions
while keeping a Customer Obsessed mindset. As such, this position will have regular contact
with our customers to explain and assist with gathering additional details needed for Customs

*Customs Audit and Compliance Experience Focused on Harmonized Tariff Classification
Determination
*Skilled at analyzing current procedures then developing and executing new processes.
*Ability to effectively balance Compliance, Customer and Business needsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrior Experience Leading a Customs Brokerage Team or prior experience Managing
Customs Brokerage or Import Operations.
*Bachelor's Degree in related Field
*Project Management Experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $163,100/year in our highest geographic market.
