- Pay and living stipend will be competitive with local and national travel Radiology Tech rates. We will evaluate pay and living stipend every quarter and adjust based on market trends. Each assignment will have a consistent pay rate but can change when a new assignment is given.
- For assignments greater than 50 miles from the employee's home, will receive a taxable weekly living stipend. The caregiver is responsible for finding their own housing during each travel assignment.
- All iFlex employees will be expected to travel to all geographies and able to work at all Intermountain sites. The management team will work with each Technologist on assignments and will take all preferences and needs into consideration.
- Must be able to demonstrate high level clinical skill set in the following units: OR, ER, Trauma, Fluoroscopy, Portables, and high acuity cases.
- Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
- Is sensitive to the patients’ needs throughout the procedure. Sufficiently explains to the patient and family the procedure about to be performed in order to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient anxiety. Addresses any patient concerns.
- Performs radiologic exams that produce quality images and ensures patient and staff safety.
- Accomplishes this by following proper protocols, correct patient positioning, appropriate and effective use of equipment, and adherence to radiation protection and guidelines.
- Utilizes sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
- Recognizes emergent patient situations and responds quickly and appropriately.
- Thoroughly and accurately completes all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
- Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
- As appropriate, assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required
- Current Radiology Technician license in state of practice (if working in Utah), required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers, required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-level trauma center.
- IV certification.
